Veske is a Scottish lifestyle bag and accessories brand, with quality, design and heritage at the core. Hand manufactured their workshop in the Scottish coastal town of Montrose with Hayley Stevenson waxed cotton. All their products are made with the highest care and attention to detail.
Designed for short overnight stays and weekend breaks, The James Weekend Bag is the largest in the Veske Heritage Collection. Intertwining style and function, The James Weekend Bag has a compact shape but it’s roll top means that it can expand/reduce in size depending on how much you’re carrying with you on your travels. There is ample room for a weekends worth of clothing, a zipped internal pocket to keep smaller belongings in one place. As well as this, there is a zipped external pocket to keep anything you need to access quickly safe. The James Weekend Bag is made with 100% Cotton from Halley Stevensons of Dundee, the waxed cotton specialists. The lateral sliding Fidlock fastening, in addition to looking great, keeps your bag secure when closed.

The cotton used is Gots Certified organic cotton, which is grown withput harmful chemicals and uses less water and creates less CO2 than conventional cotton. Up to two.thirds of the enviromental impact of clothing can come from washing and drying, so by using Anti-odor technology we can herl reduce that and also extend the life of your new favourite hoodie.
The fabric for our Hoods comes from an ethical mill in Portugal that is Bluesign and Oeko Tex Standars 100 certified and then they are made by a family run factory in northern Portugal.
Last year we launched our everyday sweats and the cmbination of the super comfortable brushed organic cotton and anti-odor treatment became a bit of a hit, so it made sense to add a hoodie to the range. We wanted to create the perfect classic, simple hoodie. We ised the same cozy, anti-bacterial, organic cotton fabric as our sweats and kept the design as a simple classic. We skipped the pockets found on many hoodies to keep the design minimal and clean, we have plain.
