We designed the bomber for those with a sense of adventure looking for protection from the elements. The Nomad Bomber is made from a luxury wool 2 layer fabric that is waterproof and breathable.
The natural wool outer fabric is made in Italy and the garment is manufactured in Portugal and shipped by road to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible. The lining is made from a blend of Kapoc and recycled Polyester. Kapoc is one of the most sustainable fabrics in the market. It’s also very functional due to the natural antibacterial qualities.
Fabric is sourced from a sustainable mill in Lake Como, Italy. It has invested in new machinery, transforming and optimising the production cycle; a co-generation plant was installed capable of self-producing electrical and as well as thermal energy for heating the factory. Product is manufactured in Guimarães, Portugal.
For the Nomad Bomber we wanted to create a versatile jacket that looks smart, and at the same time, performs when you are on a commuter bike ride or enjoying life outdoors. Our ethos is about making clothing that keeps you comfortable on any adventure but at the same time looking good in the city. When we looked at other Bomber jackets we found that most aren’t waterproof or good for being in the outdoors and that’s why we created this one.
Great fit, lovely look and feel and yet also provides good protection from elements, have been wearing it almost everyday since getting it throughout Scottish autumn weather and get protection from rain/drizzle and cold but still look slim and stylish.
United Kingdom United KingdomI love this jacket! I was searching around London for something like it. And when I tried it on, I knew it was what I wanted. Only negative is [similar to other] the pocket on the inside. Single pocket, not great. Side pockets not deep enough to safely leave my phone. For me, this is not a big issue. The Bomber will get me to and from work on a cool day while sitting in my car. If you need a coat with really functional pockets, maybe not the best option, but I still love mine! Top notch quality build and materials too. Very happy, would recommend!
I have to say I love the Bomber, the materials throughout are top notch, but there are some questionable design choices. Why only one internal pocket? Why not make the external pockets zippable, or at least have a button to close them? The flip-down reflective thing is a great idea, but in practice just ends up brushing against my merino T-shirts, causing them to pill. I have in fact just grabbed a pair of scissors and removed it along with the velcro strips. I feel like if these issues were solved, this would be hands down the nicest cycling & travel jacket out there.
Bought it while being visiting my daughter in Edinburgh. Trying it, it was fitting perfectly, huge emotion with the Italian wool and the shape. It is a great jacket, worth every Euro, well pounds, I've paid for it. Now up and living in the French Alps!
