All our knitwear is crafted in Scotland using the finest blend of cashmere and merino wool. Manufactured in one of the oldest family run luxury knitwear businesses based in the Scottish Borders dating back to 1874. Renowned for producing the softest, finest and most luxurious knitwear in the world.
Wool is one of the most sustainable fabric choices you can make. The Merino fibre comes from Australian sheep and spun by premier Italian spinners. The cashmere comes from mountain goats found in the freezing climates of China and Mongolia that grow a downy underfleece of soft short hair to protect themselves from winter temperatures as low as -40°c. This undercoat is cashmere and this fibre is combed from the goats by nomadic tribesmen. Wool is also biodegradable and recyclable.
The transformation of the yarn happens in Scotland where the waters are soft and where more than a century of wisdom and understanding of this precious natural fibre is turned into pure luxury before being crafted by William Lockie in the Scottish Borders.
As a Scottish outdoor brand with the best manufacturers in the world on our doorstep we simply had to have this luxury knitwear in our range. We love collaborating with our local manufacturers to design and develop the knitwear range inspired by the Scottish Fisherman dating back to the 1800’s.
“Can’t take them off!
The Meander Adventure Trousers are my new all-round, go-to trouser of choice - I can’t take them off. They are so comfortable and versatile I need them in every colour. Superb work Meander, thanks for my new favourite trousers :)”
“Good texture, wash well, keeping colour well
Bought some T-shirts for me and my husband. They were all soooo lovely. Thought my husband was looking particularly good yesterday and then noticed it was because he had his meander T-shirt on!”
”So Comfortable!
I bought these as we went into lockdown in the UK, and I don't think there's been a day yet when I haven't worn them for working from home. Possibly the most comfortable trousers I've ever owned. Can't wait to ride to work.....”
