We are now on our 4th generation of Adventure Trouser and with each iteration we have worked with our manufacturing partners to increase the amount of recycled materials. We use an innovative manufacturing process that recovers, reuses and recycles offcut fabrics to eliminate waste.
Our trousers are ethically made in a family run factory located in Guimarães, Portugal who specialise in the development and manufacture of outdoor clothing. The trousers are Oeko Tex Standard 100 and Bluesign certified.
These are the trousers we’d always been searching for but could never find! We wanted to create a versatile technical trouser that you can wear on your day to day adventures. A trouser that you can put on to wear to the office or a bar and that you can comfortably cycle in all weather conditions. The fabric has 4 way stretch, a soft inner that feels like sweatpants and it’s water repellant.
United KingdomWhile my first impression at seeing these trousers was they are quite 'shiny', this didn't seem so important once I realised how comfortable they are. I don't know how but they have created a pair of trousers that are at home on a hill, the sofa, and even the office. And I have been assured that the shine wears off after a couple of washes so fingers crossed. The pockets are a little bit 'gape-ey' which is why I took a star off, but this is a small point and I'll likely be buying more in other colours. Good job Meader team!
United KingdomI love these trousers, they are a brilliant solution for those who like to be sporty and stylish and have a very active lifestyle. The fabric is really soft and flexible and they don’t crease leaving them looking presentable and really smart. There is one small situation that I am sure is resolvable! I am a size 10/12 and bought the medium size which would be expected. When I tried them on they were a good fit, however after wearing them for a few hours the pressure of the elastic became very uncomfortable. Is there a way that this could be loosened? and a slightly more roomy or flexible piece could be replaced? If I had taken the size larger, the fit would not have worked as there would be too much material! Please could you let me know if your manufacturer might be willing to do this as I really love these trousers!

United KingdomThese trousers are superb So flexible - great for outdoor pursuits with a hooded walking jacket but also smart enough for more formal occasions with a shirt or cashmere jumper
United KingdomI love these trousers (and the company ethos) and have had so many compliments! Unfortunately they are just not very durable for cycle commuting though and after a year (and it’s not like I wore them everyday in this time) the legs had worn so thin at the back that one leg has a massive hole. I emailed twice in case this was just a one off dud pair but have not had a reply so assuming it’s an issue with the trousers more generally :(
