A Classic Parka designed to take you through the elements. Crafted from recycled plastic bottles that have been transformed to a 3 layer soft shell fabric that’s waterproof, breathable and comfortable.
All three layers of this highly technical fabric have been engineered using polyester from recycled plastic bottles resulting in a low impact jacket that can be recycled at the end of its lifecycle. The fabric is PFTE free and PFC free, Bluesign® approved, GRS Certified and Oeko Tex Standard 100 certified.
We work with a mill in Germany who are at the forefront of sustainable and technical technology in the apparel space. They have produced the fabric used in this jacket which is then made into the finished product in Sofia, Bulgaria.
We wanted to create a piece of outerwear that performs in all weather conditions and looks great. Our design ethos is to craft minimalist, technical products, timeless designs that are versatile for your everyday life and adventures. The parka is designed to be versatile, for wearing on a dog walk, casual bike ride or around town.

AustriaI've had this Parka in use now for a couple of weeks and therefor consider myself competent enough, to provide a meaningful review, respectively additional information for potential buyers. I was looking for an autumn/early spring coat/parka, that, on the one hand, should be suitable for commuting by bike (including an arduous uphill climb along the way), thus be breathable(!), wind-, waterproof, warm and comfortable to wear while in motion, and which, on the other hand, should nevertheless be free of that typical "outdoor look", meaning, not make me look like a hiker, mountaineer, athlete (when wearing in town) - no logos therefor mandatory. This Parka meets all of the above stated requirements. It even looks better than pictured here, especially the fabric leaves a much more quality impression compared to other soft shell products. The pictured front pocket is not lockable, however, there is another one en face on the inside, featuring a zip (a pocket like the ones on Barbours wax jackets). The hood is mounted with a couple of buttons and therefor detachable. The reflective cuff can be tucked away to the inside and while this is not a perfect solution, it's a good enough one. The main front zip can, when closed to the top, be opened from the bottom, thus gives some additional room for movement. Having said that, buyers from the EU need to be aware, that any item ordered from the UK will be subject to additional taxes and/or duties, which can sum up to quite a considerable amount (and will have to be payed on delivery). Do not underestimate this! Had i known this in advance, i probably would have refrained from ordering. The item will also spend some additional days in customs, which extends the delivery time. I do, however, not regret my purchase a single bit,since i've yet to come across a parka of similar outstanding qualities (and i've searched for quite some time). I'd just preferred to know the overall price tag in advance, not have it come to me as a nasty surprise later.
